Volunteers
All of our volunteers are valued additions to our work. Without them, the agency could provide only half of the services available to parents. Volunteers serve in several capacities:
Circle of Parents Support Group Facilitators
MELD Program Facilitators
PARENT HELPLINE Phone Counselors
Children's Program Assistants
Office Assistants
Special Events Assistants
Most volunteers have a weekly commitment of between two and four hours. Others work with staff as needed.
Board of Directors
Board members of The Parenting Network have a commitment to the
mission of the organization, devote professional and personal
skills to strengthen the agency, and are actively involved with fund development, including a
personal financial contribution and board projects. Board members are involved in at least one standing committee
of the agency.
