Strengthening Families

What is
Strengthening Families?

SFP 10-14 is a seven week program for parents and their youth, aged 10-14.

Parents learn how to show love and set limits for their children, while the youth learn how to set goals and achieve them; better manage stress and peer pressure; and minimize problem situations that might keep them from meeting their goals.

Recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Strengthening Families 10-14 program is the most proven alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) prevention program in the world. The Parenting Network has two Local Agency Trainers certified by Iowa State University Extension to provide and train facilitators for the SFP 10-14 program in Milwaukee.
